Itinerary

  • Day 1: Cusco – Piskacucho – Km 82 – Huayllabamba

    Our adventure starts early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel or your accommodation from Cusco City will be at 4:00am to 4:15am and from the sacred valley (Urubamba route to Ollantaytambo) from 5:15am to 5:30am, this time is for reference remember to provide the right address information of your hotel at the briefing session with your tour Guide. We will drive to Km 82 Inca trail checkpoint to begin our trek, here they will control and check the weight and the original passport for every pax with the Inca trail permits, the first portion of the hike will be a training section quite easy for about 02 hours Until We arrive to Patallacta or Llactapata which is our first Inca’s site. from here We will hike for about two hours in order to get the lunch point where our chefs will be waiting for You. From here We will hike 2 hours more to reach Huayllabamnba our First Campsite, where you will get a delicious dinner. Trekking distance: 8.7 mi/14 km (6-7 hours). Trekking Time: 5 to 6 hours. Trekking level: Moderate. Campsite altitude: 3300m/275ft.

  • Day 2: Huayllabamba – Warmiwañusca – Pacaymayu

    Time for a nice and challenge day, we will wake You up early in the morning to get ready and get a delicious breakfast. Later, the dead woman’s pass (warmiwañusca) 4215m / 13829 ft, is waiting for us this is the highest point on the Inca Trail We will hike for about two Hours for reaching the pass of course We will make some stops to recover some energy and enjoy the view and take unique pictures from there our next point Will be Pacaymayo 3600m / 300ft, which is our campsite located, our Chef will be waiting for you with a delicious lunch, The rest of the afternoon will be free later We will provide a delicious dinner for you and later you can enjoy a beautiful full star night. Trekking Distance: 9.94 mi/16 km. Trekking time. 6 to 7 hours. Trekking Level: Challenge. Campsite altitude: 3600m / 300ft.

  • Day 3: Pacaymayu – Chaquicocha – Winayhuayna

    We continue our great adventure; we will Wake you up early in the morning. After a delicious breakfast we will hike up for about 01 hour to the Inca’s site of Runcu raccay the second high pass 4000m/13020ft this will take another two hours on the way You will see as well two huge and beautiful waterfalls cascades aside of the valley. We will have a breathtaking views of the snowcapped mountains time for picture and enjoy the moment. Then after the pass We continue hiking downhill this will take another two hours to the lunch point, after lunch we will head to the Wiñaywayna Inca’s site, where we will spend our last night on the Classic Inca and the dinner will be especial, we will say good bay to our great porters thanking for the great effort that they do. Trekking distance: 16 km/9.94194ft. Trekking time: 7 – 8 hours. Trekking Level: Moderate. Campsite altitude: 2,650m/220.83ft.

  • Day 4: Winaywayna – Machupicchu – Cusco

    The most important day of the trail, we will provide a delicious breakfast, the We start hike for about 2 hour or 2 hours and a half to the Sun gate the main entrance to Machupicchu this is unique experience in a life time, time for a worthy picture to save. We continue hiking downhill to the archaeological site of Machupicchu, where We will provide a professional guiding tour by our main guide for about two hours. after the tour We will give You a train tickets and a bus ticket in order to go to Aguas Calientes town, you will have the option to get a Lunch (not included in the program) there are many options for it. Then You will need to be at the train station at least 30mn in advance of the departure time, the train is for Aguas Calientes town to the train station of Ollantaytambo where We will be waiting for You in a proper tourist transportation in order to take you back to Cusco and leave you to your hotel. Trekking time: 7 km/4.34mi Trekking time: 2 / 3 hours Trekking level: moderate. Machupicchu altitude: 2,400m/78373ft

What Should You Bring?

  • To acclimate the altitude, it is customary to be in Cusco at least two days in advance of the trek (not mandatory) doing some activities drinking water will help you, some of you don’t need acclimatization.
  • If you want to book along the year, You should know that the Inca Trail is closed on February.
  • Make your reservation in advance for the Classic Inca Trail at least 06 months in advance due to the big demand could be sold out any time. Especially in the high season which is from April to September.
  • For the Inca trail We will provide a duffle bag where you will have space only for 07kg including the way of the sleeping bag and a basic matt. This mean that You will have 3.5kg to pack the rest of your personal belongings consider only the necessary things to pack.
  • You will need to show the original passport at every checkpoint of the Inca trail and Machupicchu.
  •  Bring some Cash, in small denominations in local currency almost every shop doesn’t have card system.
  •  Waterproof and Windproof jacket, rain poncho.
  • A towel and bathing suit
  • 4 shirts / t-shirts
  • The sun is very strong a sun hat will be helpful.
