Description of the tour
This five-day itinerary in Cusco offers an immersive exploration of the region’s most iconic attractions. It begins with a city tour and a visit to the Archeological Park of Saqsayhuaman, followed by a transfer from Alejandro Velasco Airport to your hotel. The second day features a tour of the Sacred Valley with a connection to Machu Picchu. On the third day, you’ll experience a guided tour of Machu Picchu, specifically designed for national tourists. The fourth day is dedicated to a tour of the stunning Rainbow Mountain. Finally, the itinerary concludes on the fifth day with entrance tickets to various attractions in Cusco and a transfer back to Alejandro Velasco Airport.

Itinerary

DAY 01: City Tour & Archeological Park of Saqsayhuaman
Around 09:45 am. We will pick up you from your hotel. We start the tour visiting the “Koricancha” (Place of Gold) the most important religious center in the Inca’s time. Then we visit the Cathedral of Cusco, place where you can enjoy the work of impressive artists, also canvases, carvings and others. Later, we move to Sacsayhuaman, this place has one of the most astounding buildings in the entire world. Q’enqo (Maze) with its underground tunnels, it’s a belief that their passageways comunicated the man’s world with the death’s world. The next place to visit is Tambomachay, known as the Inca’s Baths, from this place you can watch a panoramic view of Puca Pucara, which name of quechua origin means “Red Fortress”. Finally, we finish with the panoramic view from the viewpoint of Cristo Blanco. The tour ends approximately at 02:00 pm.

DAY 02: Sacred Valley Tour & Connection to Machu Picchu
Between 07:30 am - 08:00 am, we will pick you up from your respective hotel to start the tour. First we will go to the Taray viewpoint, a place from which you can appreciate the incredible Sacred Valley. We will also visit "Awana Kancha", a textile interpretation center where you will also be able to learn about the techniques for extracting wool fiber and transforming it into incredible garments that are known worldwide. We will go to the town of "Pisaq" where you will be able to appreciate the archaeological center that is distinguished by the incredible agricultural terraces and the majestic constructions, you will also know the artisan market. After enjoying the morning tour, we will take you to taste a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba. At around 2:00 p.m. we will return to the mobility that will lead us to the Living Inca city. The impressive district of Ollantaytambo, a place that is also known for being the scene of the staging known as the "Drama Ollantay". Here you will discover a unique architecture that so far creates a lot of impression among archaeologists and historians. Finally you can enjoy a coffee (not included) in Ollantaytambo until it's time to board the train that will take you to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Caliente), where our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the Hotel you select.

DAY 03: Tour to Machu Picchu (National Tourist)
At the indicated time we will pick you up from your respective Hotel/Hostel for transfer to the train station of Cusco or Ollantaytambo, then you will board the indicated train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes our assistants will wait for you to direct you to the bus station that will take you to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. When you arrive you will start with the tour, here you will have an explanation that will be given by a professional guide. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours you can visit the city on your own and take beautiful pictures of Machu Picchu, then board the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes. Here you can enjoy a delicious lunch and you can walk around the village. At the indicated time you will go to the Aguas Calientes train station to board the train that will bring you back to Ollantaytambo, where our drivers and trasladistas will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to bring you back to the city of Cusco (Disembarks central place). DAY 04: Rainbow Mountain Tour
04:00 am - 4:30 am: We will pick you up early from your hotel in Cusco and we will leave heading south of the city, we will arrive at the Cusipata trail in 3 hours, here we will have enough time to have our local breakfast, after that We will begin the walk to the mountain of seven colors, the duration of the walk will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (it will depend on the physical condition they have) on the way we will have incredible views of the place we will be able to observe alpacas, llamas and if we are lucky we will be able to see chinchillas and vicuñas; many red mountains are also a highlight of this part of the tour to the mountain of 7 colors in Cusco. When you arrive at the Mountain of 7 colors you will be amazed at its beauty. At the summit, you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. At the moment our guides indicate, we will begin our descent and then take the buses that will take us to the restaurant where we will enjoy a crazy lunch and later return to the city of Cusco.
