Description of the tour

This four-day itinerary in Cusco offers a series of unforgettable experiences. It begins with a warm welcome and transfer from Alejandro Velasco Airport to your hotel, followed by an immersive city tour that includes the impressive Archeological Park of Saqsayhuaman. On the second day, you’ll explore the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting key historical and cultural sites. The highlight of the third day is a tour to the majestic Machu Picchu, a bucket-list destination for national tourists, where you’ll have the chance to explore the ancient citadel. The final day includes a journey through the Traditional South Valley, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich heritage. You’ll also have access to various notable sites in Cusco with your entrance tickets. The adventure concludes with a convenient transfer back to Alejandro Velasco Airport, ensuring a seamless end to your trip.

Itinerary

  • DAY 01: City Tour & Archeological Park of Saqsayhuaman

    Around 09:45 am. We will pick up you from your hotel. We start the tour visiting the “Koricancha” (Place of Gold) the most important religious center in the Inca’s time. Then we visit the Cathedral of Cusco, place where you can enjoy the work of impressive artists, also canvases, carvings and others. Later, we move to Sacsayhuaman, this place has one of the most astounding buildings in the entire world. Q’enqo (Maze) with its underground tunnels, it’s a belief that their passageways comunicated the man’s world with the death’s world. The next place to visit is Tambomachay, known as the Inca’s Baths, from this place you can watch a panoramic view of Puca Pucara, which name of quechua origin means “Red Fortress”. Finally, we finish with the panoramic view from the viewpoint of Cristo Blanco. The tour ends approximately at 02:00 pm.

  • DAY 02: Incas Sacred Valley Tour

    Around 07:45 am. We will pick up you of your hotel. First you will make a stop in the viewpoint of Taray, from this place you will appreciate the incredible view of the Sacred Valley. Also you will visit the “Awana Kancha” that is a Textile Interpretation Center where you can know the techniques of the wool fiber extraction and the transformation to the amazing cloth garments, these ones are known in the entire world. Later you will arrive to “Pisaq”, in this place you will can enjoy the Archaeological center that is impressive because its agricultural terraces and the Majestic constructions, also you will know the Handicraft Market. After to enjoy this tour during the morning, you will taste a Delicious buffet lunch at Urubamba Town. Around 02:00 pm. You will move by car to the Inca Living City, the amazing Ollantaytambo District, place that is known for be scenary of the staging named as “Drama Ollantay”. Into this place you will find an unique architecture that until this moment impresses a lot to archeologists and historians. In the return trip to the City of Cusco, we will visit the Archaeological Center of Chinchero and the little but impressive Church that it was built under the advocacy of the “Virgen de Monserrat”. You will arrive to Cusco approximately at 06:00 pm.

  • DAY 03: Tour to Machu Picchu (National Tourist)

    At the indicated time we will pick you up from your respective Hotel/Hostel for transfer to the train station of Cusco or Ollantaytambo, then you will board the indicated train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes our assistants will wait for you to direct you to the bus station that will take you to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. When you arrive you will start with the tour, here you will have an explanation that will be given by a professional guide. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours you can visit the city on your own and take beautiful pictures of Machu Picchu, then board the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes. Here you can enjoy a delicious lunch and you can walk around the village. At the indicated time you will go to the Aguas Calientes train station to board the train that will bring you back to Ollantaytambo, where our drivers and trasladistas will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to bring you back to the city of Cusco (Disembarks central place). Departure and return times vary according to the train schedule either from: Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes/Aguas Calientes - Ollantaytambo

  • DAY 04: Traditional South Valley

    We will pick you up from your respective hotel between 08:30 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. The pick up of the passengers is done according the biosafety protocols established by MINSA. We will pick you up from your respective hotel between 08:30 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. The collection is done in compliance with the biosafety protocols established by the MINSA. In the first instance, you will go to the south of the imperial city, the first place that you will know is Tipón, This town was a sacred place where the people paid cult to the water. Tipón was distinguished for being a marvel of hydraulic engineering. We continue the tour visiting one of the administrative centers during the power of the Wari kingdom, the city of Pikillaqta which has a very harmonious and impressive geometric design. It is considered a representation of the territorial order of that time. You will end the tour visiting the Church of San Pedro Apóstol de Andahuaylillas, there you will appreciate representations of the painting of the Cusco school and painting representatives worldwide. The tour ends approximately around 2:00 p.m.
